Mrs. Olive Joslyn Armstrong, 41, of Blossvale died last night in a Rome Hospital after an illness of one day. The daughter of Oliver and Marjorie LeClere Joslyn, she was born in McConnellsville on May 31, 1917. She had lived in this area all her life. She was a 1935 graduate of Camden High School and a member of the Methodist Church of Taberg. On Mar. 24, 1939, she was married to Frank C. Armstrong in Great Bend, Pa. Surviving besides her husband and mother are five daughters, Marjorie, Frances, Bonnie, Avens and Bessie, all at home, three sons, James, U. S. Marines, Camp Lejeune, NC, Benjamin and Thomas Armstrong at home, two sisters, Mrs. Clarence Hopkins and Mrs. Harold Fox, McConnellsville, six brothers, James, Frank, and Robert Joslyn, McConnellsville, George, Rome, Charles, Utica, and Lewis Joslyn, Oneida, also several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held Thursday at the B. A. Sanford Funeral Home, Camden. Interment in McConnellsville.
