Brenda Cole, a longtime area resident passed away at Integris Miami Hospital on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the age of 60. Brenda was born on November 25, 1961 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Gary and Carol (Gaines) Funk. On April 5, 1985, she married the love of her life Monroe Cole at First Assembly of God in Miami. Simply put, Brenda loved the Lord. She loved her church family and young people. When they worked with the church youth years ago they loved coming to "Brenda Monroe's". Their house was always full of young people who knew they were loved. She was always full of life, always happy, and her cup was always overflowing. She would always tell you to love the Lord, run the race, and finish the course. Her unwavering love for her children and grandchildren was very evident and the way she cared for her husband of 36 years, Monroe's life was forever changed buy her unwavering love. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents Gary and Carol Funk.
