George Thomas Myers "Tommy" 69, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord on November 24th, 2021, at his home.
George was born on May 27th, 1952, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to James L and Mary Myers. He graduated from Mounds High School. George was employed at Alliance Transportation INC. as a truck driver for 21 years and then decided in 2016 to retire to spend more time with family.
George faithfully served his country for four years from 1971 to 1975 in the USAF. In the time of his service, he achieved the rank of SSgt.
After returning home George met and married the love of his life Connie Bacon. After being married for 16 years they decided to get divorced and remain friends. In their 16 years of marriage, they welcomed their first child, James C. Myers in 1989 and in 1992 they welcomed their second child, Carissa Myers-Johnson.
In his spare time George enjoyed collecting beer steins, Coca Cola collectibles, belt buckles, and coins. He also enjoyed reading westerns, motocross, weekends at the sand dunes and spending time with his family.
George was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
George is survived by his mother Mary Myers of Sapulpa, OK. Children: James C Myers and wife Arica of Tahlequah, OK and Carissa Johnson and husband Preston of Mounds, OK,
Grandchildren: Andrew, Aleigha, Peyton, and Rosaleigh Myers of Tahlequah, OK and Damon, Jeran, and Grayson Johnson of Mounds, OK.
Siblings: Jimmy Myers of Sapulpa, OK, Elaine Jones and husband Mike of Sapulpa, OK, and John Myers and wife Rhonda of Sapulpa, OK and a host of relatives and friends.
