James Bowen, of Thorntown, passed away Nov. 29, 2021, at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon. He was born to Harry and Evelyn (Joseph) Bowen on Oct. 5, 1940.
James married Virginia Stephens on Feb. 14, 1960. She preceded him in death Jul. 26, 2020.
He is survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and 1 brother.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Gillan, 3 grandchildren, Robert Burtner, Jr., Crystal Devine and Matthew Ferch, and great-grandson, Izak Clark.
James will be laid to rest at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Thorntown.
