Funeral services for Mary Minter Cross will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr. in Shreveport, Louisiana. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with the funeral service immediately following. Officiating the service will be Jerry Kennedy of Life Tabernacle. Interment will be at Forest Park West Cemetery in Shreveport.

Mary was born July 1, 1933 in Buckner, Arkansas, and she met Jesus on Monday, November 29, 2021 at the age of 88. She married the love of her life, Chester Cross, in 1953, and they were together for 43 years prior to his death in 1996. She was a dedicated sister, wife, mother, and grandmother, who could always be trusted to listen, love unconditionally, and never judge or criticize. Her family was so important to her, and she loved them all.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband; her parents, Louie and Avis Lawrence Minter; one sister, Flora Radar; and four brothers, David Minter, JC "Sonny" Minter, Herman Minter, and
Jerry Minter.
