SIERRA VISTA — Michael "Mike" Maxwell, 65, died November 27, 2021, at his home in Sierra Vista, Arizona.
Mike, son of the late Rayburn and Virginia (Orr) Maxwell, was born on September 12, 1956, in Grand Junction, Colorado. Mike was raised in Delta, Colorado.
After graduating from high school, Mike proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Mike worked in the field of construction, building residential homes and commercial properties for more than 30 years.
Mike loved spending his time arrowhead hunting, coaching youth football, and entertaining family and friends with his tall tales.
Mike is survived by his four children, four stepsons, and 17 grandchildren.
A service with military honors for Mike will occur at the Veterans Cemetery in Sierra Vista on December 14th, with the procession beginning at 10:30 am. Service will begin at 11:00 am.
