Julie Roberts, 79 of Connersville passed on Sunday, November 28, 2021. She was born on October 4, 1942 in Clay County, Kentucky to Clay J. Byrd and Amanda Hacker Byrd.
Julie married Delmer Clay Roberts on November 25, 1966. He passed away in 2012.( He passed in Dec of 2008)
Julie was a member of Full Gospel Holiness in Connersville.
She retired from A&W as a manager.
Julie's life consisted of attending church and being surrounded by her family. She cherished her time spent with her family and friends.
Julie is survived by her daughter, Angela Roberts; son. Brian (companion, Marsha Levi) Roberts; 2 grandchildren, Evan Roberts and Angel Pennington; brother, Maynard Byrd; sisters, Sophia Schoonover, and May Margaret Nesbit; and best friends, Wanda Peters and Lullabelle Wells; and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her step mother who raised her Grovie Byrd; a son, Duane Roberts; brothers, Clayton Byrd, Charles Byrd, Tilman Hacker and Clarence Byrd; sister, Gertie Turner.
Visitation for Julie will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Full Gospel Holiness 1109 W. 10th Street, Connersville. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm at the church with Pastor Jeff Hensley officiating.
