Larry Laurin Morris, 83, of Pikeville passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Wayne UNC Health Care in Goldsboro.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.in the fellowship hall of La Grange United Methodist Church. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the church sanctuary. Burial will take place at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro.

Mr. Morris was born in Nebraska on February 11, 1938 to the late John Bernard and Dora Snyder Morris.

He was a member of La Grange United Methodist Church. Mr. Morris retired from the United States Air Force as a Technical Sergeant.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Beth" Kornegay Morris; one son, Don Morris and wife, Jackie of Seven Springs; one daughter, Beverly Amodeo of Virginia; one step-son, Trey Ball of Goldsboro; one step-daughter, Traci Baer and husband, Jason of Greenville; one grandson, Jon Kyle Austin; two step-grandchildren, Rachel and Ethan Baer and his beloved furbaby, Kodi.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Morris was preceded in death by eight siblings.
