Gary Wayne Phillips, age 68, of Bonnerdale, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021.
He was born on July 6, 1953, in San Pedro, California, the son of Lloyd Phillips and Shirley Maner Phillips. On November 10, 1972, he married Doris Hammock. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, David Phillips; one sister, Patricia Hammock; and one son-in-law, Anthony McAfee.
Gary was a Christian and a member of Pearcy Baptist Church. He worked many years for Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and later as a self-employed carpenter.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Doris Phillips of Bonnerdale; two sons and a daughter-in-law; two daughters and a son-in-law; seven grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Evelyn Phillips; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
