Mrs. Florence M. McRoberts, 83, formerly of 1105 Newman, died Tuesday evening in Janesville Health Care Center after a lengthy illness. The former Florence Jeffrey was born May 2, 1896, in Chicago, Ill., and married George McRoberts on March 3, 1916; he died on March 9, 1935. She lived in Harvard, Ill., until 1929, when she moved to Janesville. She was employed at Parker Pen Co. from 1942 to 1946 and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and its Ruth Circle. Burial in Dunham Cemetery, Chemung, Ill.
