(Southwest Times Record)∼Jack Floyd Thompson, 67, of Fort Smith, Arkansas was called home by his Heavenly Father on November 28, 2021. Jack was born April 22, 1954 in St Louis, Missouri to the late Gilbert and Florence Verdier Thompson. Jack attended Conway, MO high school where he received his certificate of graduation. Jack was known for his love of people as he greeted everyone with a hug. He never met a stranger and loved his Dr. Pepper and 3 musketeers. He also loved going to church at 1st Baptist Church in Fort Smith and read his Bible daily. He loved his family especially traveling with them. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Opal Robinson, niece Karen Robinson and nephew Gary Robinson. He is survived by his brother William Thompson (Vera) of Forsyth, Georgia along with nieces Kathryn Robinson of Fort Smith and Sherryl Faulkner-Robinson of Farmington, AR, and great nieces Samantha Espinoza-Robinson and Sabrina Fowler and husband Wes as well as KayLynn. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. A memorial service will be held at 4:30 PM Thursday December 2, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Fort Smith. Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel 4817 Kelley Hwy in Fort Smith.
