Nora Turner was the only daughter of Hettie Burl Sullivan and Charles New Turner.
Nora married Walter A. Hollister on June 27, 1895 in Humphreys County, Tennessee. To this union one daughter lived to adulthood Mildred Hollister Marsh (1901-1990), who married Dr. Fred Eugene Marsh, Sr. (1898-1976) of Petersburg, Tennessee. To this union three sons were born, Dr. William Hollister Marsh (1924-1995), Fred Eugene Marsh, Jr. (1929-2020), and Dr. Clarence Bruce Marsh (1932).
