LIMA — Mary Anne Webb, age 69, passed away on Monday, Nov. 29, 2021, at the Cleveland Clinic following a brief illness.

She was born June 28, 1952 in Lima to Howard and Carolyn (Valentine) Schroeder who preceded her in death.

On April 16, 1993 she married Milton Webb who survives.

Mary Anne is also survived by a son, Joshua Boggs of Bristol, VA; a stepdaughter Cori Webb-Keithley of Bastrop, TX; the following brothers; Gerald (Dinny) Schroeder of Harbor Beach, MI and James (Marilyn) Schroeder of Florida along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She attended The Ohio State University, Lima for several years and Northwestern Business College, receiving a Professional Secretarial Degree. She used her journalistic and secretarial abilities full time for 30 years as an Executive Secretary to Lazarus Store Manager and Assistant Manager.

She also worked at Ford Motor Company, General Dynamics Tank Plant, the Adult Parole Authority as well as assisting with Webb Apartments.

She was a member of New Beginnings Ladies Group, Ford Girl's Club and the Republican Club meetings.

She volunteered for Lima Senior High School Choir Boosters and was a member of Open Door Baptist Church, and a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #370 and Elk's Lodge #54, all of Lima.

Mary Anne loved piano playing, family gatherings, ballroom dancing and particularly loved attending her son's choral activities, concerts and venues throughout a lifetime.

She was a loving, generous and caring friend, wife and mother and she will be dearly missed.

There will be a visitation from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 5th, 2021 at the Shawnee Chapel of Chiles-Laman Funeral Cremation Services, where a service will begin at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. William Turner officiating. Her son Joshua Boggs will memorialize his mother with songs during the service. Private burial will take place later at Woodlawn Cemetery.
