A native of Haywood County, she was a homemaker and avid clock collector.
Mrs. Rose was a daughter of the late Posey Humphrey Southerland and Edna Mae Duckett Southerland and wife of the late James Todd Rose. She was also preceded in death by her 8 siblings.
Surviving are her children, Gary Parham of Leicester, Wayne Parham of Weaverville, Tammy Ann Hambrick of Asheville and Janet Marie Foster of Leicester; 12 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and a great-great grandson; sister, Juanita Freeman of SC and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will have a gathering of friends and family from 3 to 5 PM Sunday, December 5, 2021 at the Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
