Graveside Service for Julia Ann Cooper Jackson of Waco, Texas will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at 11:00 am Doris Miller Memorial Park in Bellmead, Texas. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Serenity Life Celebration 2925 N. 18th Street, Waco, Texas from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Should it Rain Julia service will be moved to the Union Baptist District Association Tabernacle located 1925 East Loop 340, Waco, Texas 76705.

ObJulia Ann Cooper Jackson was born to Hugh J Cooper and Inez Taylor.

Julia attended the Pittsburg school system in Pittsburg, Texas. After graduating, she attended Paul Quinn College in Waco, Texas earning her Bachelor of Science Degree May 29, 1958.
Julia and her mother moved to Waco, Texas, joining The Church of the Living God, P.G.T. and remained a faithful member. Julia was an avid Musician where she served as Minister of Music for her home church. She also served at the Greater Mt. Olive Baptist Church as assistance musician.
Julia enjoyed caring for her lawn and working around her home, spending time with her nephew Rev. Francis A Green.

On October 8, 2021 at 7:25 am Julia gained her wings to be at rest and sing in that Heavenly Choir.

Julia was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh J Copper and Inez Taylor and her husband, Harold Jackson Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memories: one uncle, Elvin " Fox" Taylor of Pittsburg, Texas, a loving and caring nephew, Rev. Francis A. Green Sr., of Marlin
