Glenn graduated from Sandy Lake High School in 1947, joined the US Navy shortly after graduation, he trained in Great Lakes, went to electrical school in Memphis and then went into aviation. He was commissioned in 1958 and served another 11 years until his discharge as a Lieutenant Commander in 1969. Went to work for M and T, a defense contractor. He retired after 28 years with M and T. Glenn met his future wife while working in downtown Philadelphia with a friend, Chuck, from the Navy. His friend Chuck also ran a ground aviation school. Chuck had an instructor, Carol, who commented that there were no good men to date. Chuck set his friend Glenn up on a blind date with Carol. After the date, Carol told her friend Lee that she found the man for her. Glenn and Lee were married shortly after on February 13, 1971 at the chapel at the Willow Grove Naval Air Station. They raised their family in Huntingdon Valley. In his free time Glenn was an avid reader who liked to keep up with the newest technology trends. He was a lifelong learner and frequent visitor at the Upper Moreland Library. Glenn was also very handy. He never backed down from a challenge whether it was building built in bookshelves or remodeling the bathroom at his home.In his free time Glenn was an avid reader who liked to keep up with the newest technology trends.
