James Elmer "Jimmy"- "Mr. Brad"Bradford, 81, a native and resident of Lockport, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 and from 8:00 until 10:30 am on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Falgout Funeral Home, Lockport, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Thursday at St. Hilary Catholic Church.

He is survived by the love of his life, Florence Picou Bradford for 56 years; daughters, Melissa B. Kreamer (August Jr.), Melanie B. Arceneaux (Corey Boudreaux) and Melinda Bradford; his precious fur baby, Roxie Simone; sons-in-law, Brent Arceneaux Sr. and Bryan Boudreaux; grandchildren, Brent Arceneaux, Jr. (Tommie), Trent Arceneaux, Derricka Arceneaux, Jason Kreamer (Lindsey), April Carrere (Jared) and Bryndan Boudreaux; great grandchildren, Sean Loftin, Emma Arceneaux, Eloise Kreamer and Samantha Carrere; siblings, Mary Vedros, Terry Boudreaux and Kathy Johnfroe; godchildren, Molly Guidry, Jai Dufrene, Kathy Johnfroe, Jessica Chapman, Brian Curole, Jr. and Baron LeCompte; caregiver, Hope Wyble and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Orren Bradford, Sr. and Emelia Rogers Bradford; grandson, Jayme Paul Kreamer and brothers, Orren, Jr., Gene and Arthur Bradford.

James served his country in the U.S. Navy, flying planes as a radar operator. He was a member of the American Legion, Henry Robertson Post 83.

James was also a member of the Lockport Volunteer Fire Dept. Dist. # 2. A member of Raceland Fire Dept. Dist. # 1. He received the Lockport Volunteer Fire Dept. President's Award in 2017.

He was Krewe of Apollo's King XXIV in 1990.

He was a wonderful husband, father, pawpee and best daddy to his fur baby.
