MARTIN, Melvin F. "Pepper," 85, of Plant City, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2007. Mr. Martin was born in Lake Geneva, Fla., was retired from General Telephone and Electronics and was a retired Baptist minister. He was also a Navy World War II veteran. Survivors include son, Dr. Melvin F. "Buddy" Martin Jr. of Brownsville, Texas; daughter, Cheryl Rose, and husband, Jason, of Plant City; brother, G.W. Martin Jr. of Brandon; granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will take place at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tampa.
