Patricia Ann Blaylock, 87, of Platte City, MO, devoted wife, world traveler, Jesus follower, exemplary mother and grandmother, passed suddenly, Saturday, November 27th, 2021. Her friends and siblings called her Pat, one man lovingly called her his wife, two children called her momma, many called her grandma, and little ones called her GG. Pat was born to Maynard and Frances (Zimmer) Parker in Mechanicsburg, Ohio. She was the oldest of 3 children. Pat graduated from Knob Noster HS in 1952. The same year as the man who soon became her best friend. They joined in wedded bliss during the summer of 1954 in Kentucky. They were faithfully married and in love, for over 54 years. They had two beautiful children. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dale, her brother Bob and her daughter Adele. She is survived by her sister Sue, her son Kim, her 4 grandchildren Kyle, Lauren, Jacob and Justin, and 6 great-grandchildren. Pat traveled the world. From Israel to China, Alaska to Egypt. Pat and Dale loved to travel. She devoted her smiles and time to helping and serving others through her church, First Baptist Church Platte City, and various local Christian charity groups. Her other hobbies included cross stitching, reading, genealogy and socializing. An open visitation will be held on Dec 1st, from 5-7pm at Rollins Funeral Home in Platte City MO. The funeral service will be held on Dec 2nd, at 10:30am, at First Baptist Church Platte City. Burial to immediately follow at the Platte City Cemetery.
