Born July 31, 1944 in Philadelphia, PA., he was a son of Joseph E. and Marguerite M. (nee Caul) Burke. Joe served in the Marine Corps as a cryptologic technician from 1963 to 1967. Following discharge from military service, he enrolled at Bucks County Community College, and attended the Woodstock rock music festival. Joe moved to South Florida in 1973; raised a family; and worked for Florida Power & Light and Grumman Aerospace.
Survivors include beloved Nancy Pinder; older sister, Joanne Hartley; and younger brothers John and Michael.
Burial, with Military Honors, will take place at 9:30 AM Monday, November 29, 2021, at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth.
