Arthur Ray Cox, JR, 76, of Stanford passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 in Harrodsburg. He was born June 30, 1944 in Junction City and was the son of the late Arthur and Bessie Mae Grimes Cox. He worked as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Ann Simpson Cox; 1 son, Eddie Cox; 1 brother, Jerry Lee Cox, and 1 sister, Patricia Ann English.

He is survived by 2 sons: Earl Ray Cox of Stanford and Tracy Mills of Hustonville; 2 daughters: Linda Mae Pullum of Harrodsburg and Becky Adams of Junction City; 1 sister: Margaret Underwood of Danville; 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Burial will be in Cream Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation is 12-2pm, Sunday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 2 pm with Bro. Steve VanHook officiating. Pallbearers are Linden "Spud" Pullum, Joseph Pullum, Brian Ray, Stella Cooley, Lee Lay, and Jerry Leffew. A guestbook is available at www.wlpruitt.com.
