-age 76, died at her home in Pace, FL, in the care of her husband, after a long illness.
Carol was born June 3rd, 1945 in Memphis, TN to Fritz and Allie Thomas. She served many roles over the years, but her favorite was court clerk for the Collierville Tennessee Court System. In 1974, Carol married her soul mate Terry Beaver. They were married just shy of 48 years at the time of her passing. In 2009 Terry and Carol retired to Florida, which was their dream.
Carol is survived by her beloved husband, Terry Beaver of Pace, FL, her children Kelly Griffith of Pace, FL, Cory and Anne Beaver of Tallahassee, FL, and her grandchildren, McKenna Claire, Judson Ross, and Caden Seth Beaver of Medina, TN.
Besides spending time with her family and friends, Carol had a passion for helping out at church, decorating her lovely home, traveling, solving puzzles, watching true crime shows and caring for her dogs. Carol had a bright and energetic personality, and was known for her quick wit and kind heart. She always knew when someone needed her help, and she touched many lives with her generosity and grace.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Carol's Life, Wednesday, December 1st at 11:00 am (viewing will be from 9:30 – 11:00 am) at Pace Church of Christ, located at 4075 Berryhill Road, Pace, FL.
