US Congressman. In 1824 and 1825 he was a member of the Pennsylvania State House of Representatives, and was elected as a Jacksonian to the Twenty-first and Twenty-second Congresses, serving 1829 to 1833. He then operated a sawmill and a gristmill until his death.

Born at Perth Amboy NJ Mar 4th 1783. At the age of 14 went to New York City. Emigrated to Lindsley town NY in July 1803 and died at Lawrenceville Pa. on Thursday evening at 8 1/2 o'clock P.M. August 18th 1859 Aged 76 & 3 mo's
