Linda was born on May 7, 1950 in Canastota, daughter of the late Harland and Gladys (Winnie) Chaires and educated in Canastota schools.
She was united in marriage with John Williamson in Sauquoit, he passed away in 2000.
Her last professional employment was with Oneida County Social Services, where she was a social worker from 1981-2014.
Linda enjoyed the treasured times with her adoring grandchildren. She always loved listening to country music and going to concerts. She was fond of the ocean and looked forward to trips to the beach. In her spare time, she loved crafting and going shopping. She also enjoyed special bonding time with her daughter in law, sharing a mutual love of watching Twilights movies. Linda will be forever remembered by her loved ones as an easy going and gentle soul.
Survivors include her loving family; Joseph Williamson (Connie) of Little Falls, Brian Williamson and wife Wendy of Myrtle Beach, SC and Melissa Herringshaw and wife Sonya of Utica, NY; her cherished grandchildren, Patrick, Lindsay, Bryan, Nevaeh, Jaxsen and Levi; siblings, Judy French, Suzanne Pylman and husband Gary, Harland Chaires, Jr. and wife Mary Lou, Debra D'Alessandri and husband Anthony; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded death by her sister, Joan.
