Lynn Michelle McDonald
Lynn Michelle McDonald, 74, died peacefully on November 23, 2021, at her son's home in Boise, ID. She had been diagnosed with ovarian cancer 3 years ago.
Lynn was born March 22, 1947, in Moscow, ID. She moved to Boise with her family in 1954 where she attended elementary school at Hawthorn, Lowell, and Whitney. She attended South Junior High School and then Borah High School graduating with the class of 1965. Lynn attended Boise State College for a couple of years before entering the workplace. Lynn worked numerous jobs throughout her life. Early on, she cared for her three sons as well as a handful of other children in her home. After her kids were grown, she spent 19 years at Hewlett Packard and for the past 11 years Lynn worked at Walmart.
Lynn was an avid baker. You could always count on her to make a creative cake on your special day, bake cinnamon rolls or bake her famous dinner rolls at holidays. Although she loved baking, Lynn's real passion was her family. She was always taking care of someone. It was a revolving door at Lynn's house, but she wouldn't have it any other way. She was the most selfless person you could meet, always willing to help those in need (people and pets). Lynn had a funny sense of humor and she carried that through until the end. In her final weeks she gave those who cared for her hell for getting her toast wrong and serving mashed potatoes that didn't pass her taste test. She always put a funny twist on her dissatisfaction but didn't hesitate to give you bad time. She was always positive and never complained about her diagnosis and if you asked her if she needed anything she would reply with "Yes, A new body." In the end, her body gave out but her fight and will to live never wavered. She was a fighter!

Lynn is survived by her son's Kevin (Stephanie) McDonald and Eric McDonald, her brother's Randy (Loretta) Jordan and Rick Jordan, her nine grandchildren: Allysa McDonald, Devyn Grant, Maryanna McDonald, Jordan McDonald, Parker McDonald, Tommy McDonald, William McDonald, Alice McDonald and Johnny McDonald, her nephew's Scott and Kelly Jordan and her niece's Kim Torosian and Andrea Jordan. Lynn is preceded in death by her grandparents, her father Leo Jordan, her mother Jackie Dudley, her stepfather Zeke Dudley, and her son Doug McDonald.

A graveside service will be held at Dry Creek Cemetery on Friday, December 3, 2021, at 2:00p.m. (9600 Hill Road, Boise, ID 83714)
