Mary Ellen Fletcher 75, of Blanchard, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at her home. She was born in Stormstown on September 25, 1946 a daughter of the late George Sindall and Jean Gardner Zonge. She was a teacher as well as other positions in the Willow Run School District in Ypsilanti, Michigan for many years. She was always happy to volunteer for any endeavor related to the school and her children.

She is survived by her husband, James Fletcher at their home, four sons, Frank Varano of Monument, Gary ( Ashley ) Varano of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Beau ( Nashaya ) Fletcher of Lock Haven, and Hartsough ( Bobbie ) Fletcher of Blanchard, a stepdaughter, Jamie Fletcher of San Francisco,Ca., sisters, Annette Zonge, Shirley Zonge, and Kathy Brahm, a brother, James Zonge and many grandchildren, and two great-grandsons. She was preceded by a stepdaughter, Tammy Fletcher, a sister, Carol Zonge Wilson, and her faithful K-9 Pearl.
