Randy J. Moyer, 60, of Puzzletown, passed away Saturday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, son of Francis R. and Patricia F. (Leberfinger).
Surviving are his wife of 28 years, Cheryl (Decker); two daughters: Tasha Marks (Dayton) of Duncansville, and Sarah of Puzzletown; a son, Samuel of Puzzletown; eight grandchildren: Summer, Dayton Jr., David, Felicity, Morgan, Devin, Eisley, and Paisley; his parents of Puzzletown; two sisters: Pamela Moyer (Bob) and Sharon Moyer; two brothers: Francis Jr. (Tina) and Edward (Ann); and numerous nieces and nephews, and many great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Damien, in 2003.
Randy graduated from Central High School in 1979 and was proprietor of Randy Moyer Auto Glass in East Freedom. He also worked in the family excavation business.
Randy was a member of Vicksburg Grace Brethren Church. He enjoyed shooting pool, hunting, and playing softball and volleyball. Randy was a sponsor for Relay of Life, Easter Seals, and Strike Back at Autism.
Friends will be received from 1-3 and 5-7pm on Tuesday, Nov 30, 2021 at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg. A funeral service will be held at 11am Wednesday, at Vicksburg Grace Brethren Church. Interment at Leamersville Riverview Cemetery.
