Deverle Carol Turner Adcock was born October 11, 1935, in Woodward to Earl & Lila Turner. She attended Canadian Schools and graduated with the class of 1953. Carol married Jimmie Adcock on December 27, 1953. He preceded her in death on April 22, 2014.
She was a member of the Canadian Church of Christ and hosted a women's bible study in her home. Carol enjoyed gathering with the "Lunch Bunch" and playing canasta with friends. On her 80th birthday her family gifted her with "Things We Love About You". Recurring themes were, homemade noodles, hugs, trips to Pampa, unconditional love, commitment to family and a strong faith.
Carol was also preceded in death by her parents, a son, Ken Adcock, and daughter-in-law Jan.
Carol is survived by 4 children: Tie Adcock and wife Marilyn of Norman, OK, Devonna Mares and husband James of Rio Rancho, NM; Tim Adcock and wife Sallie of Mobeetie and Cindy Moore and husband Ronnie of Canadian; 11 Grandchildren; 20 Great Grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.
