Patricia "Trish" Rogers, 63, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021 in Fort Worth. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 6 to 8 p.m.at Morrison Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 2 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church.
Trish was born November 11, 1958 in Colorado City to Ernest and Oleta Harrell. She was the baby of the family with two older siblings Jeanetta and Charles. Trish married the love of her life on December 20, 1975 in Graham. They had two children and six grandchildren together. Her faith in God and devotion to family was #1 in her life. Her love of the Nursing career was a highlight in her life. She believed that she could always become better and was continually striving to become the best that she could. She obtained her Master of Nursing and was working toward her Doctorate of Nursing Education lacking only seven months to completion. Taking her grandchildren on summer vacations was a must for her. She enjoyed watching them in their sports and fishing and hunting with them. She was the epitome of grace, strength, and dignity. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthen me." Philippians 4:13
Survivors include: husband, Jamye Rogers; daughter, Lisa Burdick and husband, Ron; son, Jerrod Rogers and wife, Jasper; grandsons, Kyle Crossland and wife, Shelby, Brody Rogers, Brycen Rogers, Isaiah Burdick, Brayton Rogers, and Ryland Burdick; mother, Oleta Harrell; siblings, Jeanetta Anderson and husband, Rodney and Charles Harrell and wife, Elaine; sister-in-laws, Janan Burch and husband, Lee and Terri Weaver and husband, Greg; brother-in-law, Bruce Shack; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Harrell, mother-in-law, Joy Shack, father-in-law, Nathan Shack and father-in-law, Jimmy Rogers.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Samaritan Fund or Country Road Fellowship Church Gary Tull Fellowship Hall.
