Henry "Smokey" W. Patz, 87, of Beaver, WI, passed away at home on November 25, 2021. He was born to the late Gus and Gustie (Heisel) Patz on May 5, 1934.

He married Ione Wiltshire on February 5, 1958 in Athelstane, WI.

Henry enjoyed carpentry work, hunting, fishing, water witching, telling stories of the old days, and giving people Coot rides. It didn't matter if you were family, a friend or a complete stranger, he would give anyone a ride in one of them.

He also enjoyed tinkering with projects in the shed, taking trips to Watersmeet, MI to go fishing, spending time with his many grandchildren, visiting his cats, and eating his sweets. He will be remembered as a kind hearted man who would do anything for anyone, and will be deeply missed.

Henry is preceded in death by his parents; 3 daughters: Cindy Patz, Melissa Patz, Bonnie Patz; sister Alma Wittenberg; brother Richard Patz; sister in law Loretta Patz; brothers in laws: Robert Wendlick and Douglas Utz.

Henry is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ione;
3 daughters; Pattie (Mike) Baer, Julie Patz and Tracy (Chase) Lentz;
son Steven Patz;
Brothers: Marvin (Peggy) Patz, Ralph Patz, Alvin Patz, Gordon (Sandy) Patz;
3 sisters: Emily Patz, Violet Patz, Ruth (Jerry) Pillath.
10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Family will greet relatives and friends on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home Coleman, WI., from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Mark Kostreva officiating.
Henry will be laid to rest at First Baptist Cemetery in Pound, WI.
