David DeLee Ryan
David DeLee Ryan, 56, of Bunker Hill, WV passed October 22, 2021 with his family by his side. Departing on his new journey and reaching his destination, he was greeted by family and welcomed into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior. He'd been a patient for two weeks prior to passing at Winchester Medical Center, due to complications of Glioblastoma.

David was born in Temple, TX, March 31, 1965 to Gloria Moltzer. At 16 months of age he traveled to Paw Paw, WV with his mother and new dad. David resided in Paw Paw until 1977, then he and his family moved to Pin Oak. Where he lived and graduated from Hampshire High School in 1983.

David loved being a West Virginian; he loved the mountains, the woods and all things outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, hunter as well as a marksman.

His varied working experience included but not limited to working on an apple orchard, with a road crew installing guard rail, Arborist, Stone masonry, Chef, Tattooist and plumbing in the Northern VA & the DC area for 10 years.

David had a very loving heart, ALL children and animals adored him. He gave generously of his time, skills, and possessions. He had a great sense of humor and loved to entertain people, it was a close second to his love of music. He could play many different instruments and played in various bands for more than 20 years. Music was a part of his soul! While an excellent musician he was a better composer. Friends agreed "he has more talent in his little finger than most have in their whole body".

David is survived by Ingrid, his wife and life mate of 22 years. All though David never had children of his own; he loved Ingrid's four daughter's as his own!

Michelle Scheevel and husband Jesse of Byron, MN, Holly Pankonin of Garden City, MN, Heather Fowls of Byron, MN and Leah Jacobsen and husband Theo of Owantonna, MN.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Johnny and Lela Moltzer, Con and Joy Ryan, Grundy and Anna Virginia Mallory and one granddaughter, Janna Grace Jacobsen.

His memorial will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at the Lighthouse Assembly of God Gymnasium, 4285 Paw Paw Road, Paw Paw, WV 25434, with Pastor Earl Travis officiating. As ashes were shared, interment will be at a later date in two different locations, Union Cemetery in Maplewood, MN and Waco Memorial Park in Waco, Texas. David was a person of many stories, we are asking friends and family to come prepared to share your stories of him.
