Michael Ray "Mike" Campbell, 63 of Dumas passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10 o'clock in the morning on Monday November 29, 2021 at First Christian Church with Pastor Darrell Wait, officiating. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
A lifetime resident of Dumas, Mike was a member of the Dumas High School Class of 1976. Mike married Marsha Crawford on February 27, 1977, and immediately became a father to Bryan Sparks. Mike went to work for Moore County Road and Bridge in April of 1977 and continued employment maintaining roads in the county until he retired in 2015, after 37 years of public service.

Following in his grandfather's footsteps, Mike became a member of the Dumas Masonic Lodge, #1009. He held numerous offices and advanced to Worshipful Master at the age of 23. Prior to his death, Mike served as Secretary and Ritualistic Instructor. He held all chairs in the Blue Lodge; was Past Worshipful Master at the Sunray Lodge and Rock Island Lodge in Dalhart; Past District Deputy to the Most Worshipful Grand Master of Texas; Past President of Hilltop Association; Texas Demolay; Honorary member of International Rainbow Girls; Past Board member for Amarillo and recipient of the Grand Cross of Color, the highest honor conferred in Rainbows. He is a 32nd Degree Master Mason, and member of Scottish Rite, York Rite, and Shrine. Mike was serving his 7th term as Worthy Patron, Dumas Chapter #653 Order of the Eastern Star, and served several times as Associate Patron.

One night while working the county roads during a snow and ice storm, Mike rendered aid to the victims of a devastating auto accident. Following that experience, he developed a passion to serve as an emergency medical technician and paramedic. Mike spent most of his spare time studying to become an emergency medical technician then continued studying to be a paramedic while serving as an EMT. He then worked as a paramedic for several years for Moore County Hospital District and instructed EMT students in Stratford.

Mike was preceded in death by his wife Marsha Campbell, and mother Rhonnie Campbell Mayer. He is survived by his son, Bryan Sparks and wife, Carrah of Canyon; father: Bob Campbell of Amarillo, TX; sister, Melanie Poole and husband Kenny, of Amarillo; brother, Brent Campbell and wife, Kari of Austin; grandchildren Zane and Zoey Sparks of Canyon; nieces, Ashley Poole of Corinth, and Shaynie Gideon and husband Daniel of Amarillo; and nephews, Eric Campbell of Austin; Kaleb Poole and wife Yazmine of Canyon; and Dakota Poole and wife Sara of Corinth. Mike is also survived by his girlfriend, Melissa Ibison; his beloved dog, Shadow; numerous cousins; and his Masonic brotherhood in Dumas and across the state.
