Charlie Ramos, 66 of Ozona Texas passed away on Tuesday November 23, 2021. He was born to Everardo and Eloisa Sanchez Ramos on June 29, 1955. He graduated from Ozona high school in 1974 and went on to Aerotech in Wichita Falls where he graduated in 1976. Charlie married Carmen Galvan Ramos on November 26, 1977, they were married for 44 years. Together they had two children Ashlee Denyse Ramos (Buster Syma) and Rylee Chase Ramos (Tammy Merwin) and was blessed with a granddaughter whom he loved as his own, Carlie Ryann Ramos (Adam Pruente). Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Humberto Ramos and Ray Ramos and sister Dorina Ramos Sanchez. He leaves behind one brother Eddie Ramos (Deana) of Ozona and his dog "Puppy Chulo". Charlie was also preceded in death by his in-laws Joe and Hilda Galvan and he leaves behind a very special person, his brother-in-law, John Galvan (Joyce) of Richardson, Tx. Charlie poured his heart and soul into his work and everything he or his family wanted to do. All the people Charlie worked with absolutely admired him. After working at Chevron for 28 years Charlie retired and continue to work as a meter specialist at Epic Permian. Charlie touched everybody's lives and made it a point to make all those he encountered feel so important. He had a love for capturing special moments as he was a photographer/videographer for over 40 years. He will always be remembered by his customers at Tropical Sno and forever famous for his frosted popcorn. Charlie poured his heart and soul into everything he did. You name it, he could do it, he'd either find a way or make one. There truly wasn't anything Charlie couldn't or wouldn't do, buy pancreatic cancer got the best of him. He worked hard all of his life. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. Viewing and visitation will be on Friday, November 26, 2021 at the Visitor's Center in Ozona, Tx. Other viewings will be on Saturday and Sunday at the Visitor's Center. A Rosary will be read Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be on Monday at 2:00 pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Ozona, Tx with Fr. Adam Droll, officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Ozona, Texas under the direction of Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/North of San Angelo, Texas.
