It is with the deepest sorrow that the family of James R. Curtis, Jr (Ronnie) announce his passing on November 1, 2021 in North Myrtle Beach, SC.

He was born in Fredericksburg and lived there most of his life. He married his high school sweetheart, Shirley and they were together over 50 years. Life will never be the same without him by her side. Ronnie is survived by his two children; James Christopher Curtis (Marcia) and Jacqueline Michelle Sullivan (Daniel) 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 2 brothers; 2 sisters; and many nieces and nephews.

Ronnie joined the Marines when he was 17 and served in Vietnam. He always wanted to be in law enforcement and got his first job as a Deputy with the Caroline County Sheriffs office.
