He was born in Sullivan, the son of Billy Mason and Pam Davies Mason.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by a son, Christopher Mason of Sullivan; a daughter, Ashley Mason of Terre Haute; a brother, Rodney Nielson of Indiana; two sisters, Jamie Beaver of Iowa, Jodie Nielson of Linton; and one granddaughter, Amy Mason.
There will be no services. Cremation was chosen. Arrangements were entrusted to Newkirk's Funeral Home.
