Charlotte was raised in Gilliam, LA and lived in Minden since 1994. She was member of Gilliam Methodist Church. She put herself through nursing school and she worked as an LPN for 45 years; the last 10 years caring for Alzheimer's patients. She loved to garden and work in her flower beds, and she always said she felt closest to God while in her garden. She loved animals, especially her beloved dogs.
Charley was preceded in death by her infant son Billy Burgess Wright, and her parents Clifford and Frieda Hamilton. She is survived by her daughter Bonnie Wright Mezzio and husband George Michael of Minden, LA, her sister Cliff Ann Younker of Minden, her grandchildren; Bryan Hicks and wife Haley of Rodessa, LA, and Ashley Hicks of Haughton, LA, and her great grandsons, Mason, Grayson, and Hudson Hicks.
