ALLEY
Dr. James W. Alley, Stone Mountain, died November 15, 1990. Dr. Alley was a physician and educator. He was born March 13, 1929 in Follansbee, W. Va., the son of John Joseph and Mary Edith (Allison). On November 15, 1958, he was married to Jean Marie Kinney. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, attended Roberts Wesleyan College, graduated Cum Laude, University of Buffalo, 1959 graduate of Syracuse University, received an M. S. Degree in Public Health from Harvard University in 1962, received an honorary Doctor of Science from Marquette University in 1969. He was a missionary for the Methodist church in Bolivia from 1964 until 1972. Survivors are his wife, sons, Mr. Curtis B. Alley, Jacksonville, Fla.; Mr. John Alley, Lilburn; Mrs. Mark Alley, Duluth; sisters, Mrs. Lois Fry, Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. Jean Morrow, Rochester, N. Y.; Mrs. Mary Alice Stam, Dallas, Tex. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2: 30 at Trinity United Methodist Church. Dr. Rex Kaney will officiate. The remains will be placed in state at the church at 2 p.m. Those desiring may send contributions to Jerusalem House, 100 Edgewood Ave., N. E., Atlanta, Ga. 30303. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. Saturday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
