Mr. James D. Booth, age 76, of Polk City, FL died of lung cancer August 18, 2005 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was born December 16, 1928 in Waukegan, IL and moved to Lakeland from Shreveport, LA in 1996. He was a member of Southeast Motorcoach Assoc., Southeast American Coach Assoc., FMCA, and VFW. He retired from the US Air Force as a nuclear weapons technician. He attended Crestview Baptist Church.
Mr. Booth is survived by his wife Jean Booth, Polk City; sons, David L. Booth, Tyler, TX; and Ray E. Booth, Stonewall, LA; daughter, Cheri B. Richardson, Shreveport, LA; brothers, Richard Olson, Makanda, IL; and Earnest Booth, Nettleton, MS; sister, Grace Herman, Makanda, IL; give grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held August 22, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Crestview Baptist Church.
