Seville - Nina Ferguson, 93, of Seville. passed away Monday, November 22, 2021 at the Apostolic Christian Home. She was born December 15, 1927 in Wadsworth to the late Alta (nee Easterday) and Warren Newcomer.
Mrs. Ferguson was a graduate of Wadsworth High School and was a former employee of Babcock & Wilcox. On October 23, 1955, Nina married Ralph Ferguson and together they celebrated 60 years of marriage. She enjoyed traveling, spending time outdoors and growing flowers.
She was preceded in death by her sisters Lois McDermott of Westfield Ctr. and Ethel Wallace of Sterling. Nina will be missed by her daughter, Susan (Dan) Hartman and grandchildren, Bethany (Steve James) and Timothy Hartman. There are many nieces and nephews also surviving.
The family will receive friends 2-5pm Sunday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth where funeral services will be conducted at 11am Monday with Chaplain Wayne Scott officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
