Roy Joseph Horne, age 72, of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021.
He was born in Richlands, Virginia and was the son of the late Clayton Andrew and Mary Frances Hunt Horne.
Roy was a lifelong resident of the area and was the owner and operator of Prune and Bloom Landscaping for the past 30 years. He was a realtor for Goldwell Real Estate. Roy graduated from Richlands High School, Bluefield State, Appalachian State University, and received his MBA from Bristol University. He was a member of the Richlands Masonic Lodge #318 AF&AM.

Funeral services for Roy J. Horne will be conducted Sunday, November 28, 2021 at 1pm at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with Rev. Dickie Plaster and Rev. Rick Whitt officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Virginia. Pallbearers will be: Alexander Gilbert, Clayton Gilbert, Robert Blackwell, Brian Vandyke, Jeremy Gross, and Zack Northern.
