Bob was born on August 30, 1940 to Bythal and Ethel May in Marion County, AL. He was a 1958 graduate of Winfield City High School and retired from Continental Conveyor & Equipment Company after 35 years of service. Bob loved spending time with his family, sitting on his front porch, deer hunting and watching Alabama Football.
Mr. May is survived by his son, Allen May of Winfield, daughters, Jackie May of Winfield, Kathy May Hartung of New Orleans and Robin May Green (Jody) of Brilliant, grandson, Dylan Hartung of New Orleans and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Sue May, parents, Ethel May Franks and Bythal May, a brother, Rudolph May and a sister, Rosemary Franks.
A graveside service for Mr. May will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. from the Winfield City Cemetery. Jeremy Harris will be the officiating minister.
