Brenda L.K. (DeFrain) Jenkins, 63, of Berwick passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2021, at Berwick Hospital Center. Born on Dec. 28, 1957, in Berwick, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Jennie D. (Shaffer) DeFrain. She attended Berwick-area schools. Brenda was a homemaker and worked hard to create a warm and loving home for her husband and children. She enjoyed watching TV and crocheting in her spare time. She also liked to go camping and fishing when her children were younger. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 31 years, Joseph Jenkins, at home; children: Brian DeFrain and wife, Danita, Bloomsburg, Misti Hill, Millville, and Brittiany Garrison and husband, Justin, Berwick; and nine grandchildren. She also leaves behind a sister, Lucy Sponenberg, Berwick; and a brother, Larry DeFrain, Berwick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Clara Mae Dragano; and a brother-in-law, Rodney Keiner. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
