Edna had many passions in her life. The most important was the love of her Savior and that of her family. She was an outstanding cook, avid gardener, pet lover, and in her earlier days, a talented seamstress.
Due to the pandemic, the family will celebrate Edna's life at a private funeral service at Glad Tidings Church in Dunn.
Edna is survived by her children, Terry Gill and husband Pat of Dunn, Margaret Elvers and husband John of Raleigh, Diane Johnson and husband Jim of Cary, Elizabeth Hodges and husband Stephen of Dunn, Wally Autry and wife Denise of Raleigh, Laura Cotton of St. Augustine, FL, her siblings; Ruth Tart, Peggy Johnson and husband Roy, and Gene Holmes and wife Paula, and Sister-in-law Joan McElroy, all of Dunn; her precious grandchildren, several great grandchildren and her beloved cat, Lucy Ruth.
