Esther L. Jones-Zabinski, 78, of Freeport passed away on November 24, 2021, peacefully, at her home.

Esther was born in Natrona Heights, PA on April 21, 1943, a daughter of the late Julia E. (Adams) and Raymond O. Christie.

She had worked for many years as a phlebotomist at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital in Pittsburgh. Esther had also worked at Allegheny Valley Hospital in phlebotomy and EKG. She was a nurse's aide at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot and worked as an EMT/Paramedic for Freeport EMS. She enjoyed trips to the casino, playing cards with her sisters, computer games and her vacations to Beach Ten at Presque Isle, Erie and Myrtle Beach with her grandchildren Kayla and Kyle.

Esther is survived by children, Julie and Edward Totos, Chris and Saundra Jones, Clair and Diane Jones, Jr., Kevin and Pam Jones, Eyvonne "Toni" and Patrick Duffy, Georgette Sharrock and Tania Zabinski; 12 grand and 11 great grandchildren. Esther is also survived by her sister, Bertha Cain and brother, John and Hilda Christie, along with many nieces and nephews plus her furry feline companion KK.

Esther is preceded in death by her 1st husband, Clair M. "Peanut" Jones, Sr., 2nd husband, Jacob J. "Jack" Zabinski. Great grandson, Maddox Michael Jones. Siblings, Raymond Christie, Jr, Donald "Buck" Christie, Laura Callen, and Hazel Smith.

Burial will be in McVille Cemetery, South Buffalo Township, Armstrong County, Pa.
