VIETNAMDavid Stephens 74, of Wichita Falls, passed away Friday, November 5, 2021.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 13, 2021 in the Chapel of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls with Elder Ko, Johnson officiating.

David was born July 11, 1947, in Henryetta Oklahoma, to Thurman Leon and LuReatha Locke Stephens. Baptized in the First Christian Church, Henryetta Ok. David graduated from Henryetta High School and OSU Tech where he studied printing. At age 21 he joined the USAF and proudly served for 24 years, serving in Altus Oklahoma, Japan, Korea, and Wichita Falls before retiring as a Master Sergent. David loved his wife dearly as well as the rest of his family and was a proud veteran who supported many veteran groups.

David was preceded in death by his parents, In-laws Red and Vivian Thompson; Brother Jack Lynn Stephens, and sister Janie Stephens.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Judy Stephens; his sister Kathie Stephens Barone and husband Alberto of Whitby, Ontario CA; In-laws Tim and Louise Theabo of Clermont Florida; sons Kenneth Baker of Saginaw Texas, Bryan Stephens and wife Trudy of Little River Kansas, Arthur Baker of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Ray Stephens and wife Tania of Jenks Oklahoma; grandchildren B.J Stephens, Kennedy Baker, Megan Ackerman, Graham Stephens, Grant Stephens, Katy Stephens, and Chris Stephens, Caden Bledsaw, Lauren Bledsaw, Tyler Bledsaw; niece Kathy Beuttenmuller and husband Rick of Claremont Florida; and 6 great-grandchildren Hadley, Remy, Zoey, Laney, Samantha, Rowan, Carter: and great-nephew and niece Parker and Sara; uncles Ted Locke and wife Frieda, and Fred Locke ; aunt Phyllis Stephens; and many cousins and loved ones.
