Ronald David Hamilton, 77, passed away peacefully on Sunday August 15, 2021 in Salisbury. Ronald was very committed to his two daughters. He called his daughter Katrina "Aber-Dabber" and he called his daughter Shannon "Sunshine." Ronald proudly served his county in the United States Army. Ronald had a strong work ethic and he was a hard worker. He was a pipe fitter for over 35 years with Duke Power working at the McGuire Nuclear Station. Ronald worked many outages before retiring from Duke. Ronald enjoyed fishing. He loved the beach and fishing at the beach and just being outdoors. He liked to walk and in his retirement, he could often be seen walking around Stanley. He was proud that he had walked the trails at Crowder's Mountain State Park. He also enjoyed going out to eat with his daughters. Ronald will be dearly missed by many.
