Lyle Inbody, age 90, of Alma, Michigan passed away Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Masonic Pathways, Alma, MI.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis, MI on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Louis, MI. Memorials may be made to Semper Fi Fund.
Lyle was born in St. Johns, Michigan on July 21, 1925, the son of Harley and Norma (Winslow) Inbody. He married Letha Jane Granger on June 9, 1943. Letha passed away on May 27, 1996.
Lyle retired from the Masonic Home in the maintenance department.
He served his Country in the United States Navy during WWII, participating in six amphibious landings in the Philippines Campaign. Lyle was a lifetime member of the St. Louis VFW.
He is survived by his children; Leslie Dale and Audrey Inbody of Conyers, GA, Linda Jean Bardin of Saginaw, MI, Lou Ann and Ron Brennan of St. Louis, MI, 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, sisters; Genevive Western of Stanton, MI and Marian Weaver of Ithaca, MI.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and great grandson Ronald Lyle Brennan.
The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Louis, Michigan.
