Bob C. Jackson passed from this earth to his Heavenly Home, Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at the OU Health Medical Center, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
He was born April 21, 1947 in Borger, Texas to John and Christine (Reed) Jackson. On April 9, 1966, Jr. High School sweethearts, Bob Jackson and Linda Ward were married in Borger, Texas.
Bob attended the First Baptist Church. He was a stillman with Phillips Petroleum Company and after 33 years, he retired. For 4 years, he served as a Sargeant in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era.
Preceding him in death were his parents; an infant daughter, Robin Gale and an infant son, Cody Boyeaux.
Left behind to forever cherish his memory are his loving wife, Linda; a daughter, Katina Swinney and husband Brian of Borger; a son, Corbit Jackson and wife Amy of Maryland; a sister, Valerie Parr and husband Arnold of Houston; a brother, John Jackson and wife Mitzy of Morton, Texas; 4 grandchildren: Kelsey Gray, Laney Coder, Dakota Jackson and Taylor Jackson and 2 great grandchildren: Olivia Gray and Steve Gray.
A Military Graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Westlawn Cemetery, Borger with Rev. Danny Courtney officiating. Pallbearers will be Colby Forrester, Arnold Parr, Danny Winkle, Steven Burse, Greg Jackson, Cole Coder and Danny Wayne Powell. Honorary pallbearers will be Bob's co-workers at Phillips.
Services are entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors, Borger.
