Henry Milton Gaines was the fourth child born to M.P. and Cammie Conaway Gaines. He will always be fondly remembered as "Uncle Bubba" by all his nieces and nephews, who survive him. Going to visit Uncle Bubba and Aunt Charlotte was always a treat that we looked forward to every summer. They were always fun to be with, and they taught us a lot about farming, harvesting, and canning the products of his hard labor, so we could have the good vegetables for the coming year.
