Born in Coopersburg, PA, he was the son of the late Wilkinson and Mary Madeira Craig.
He was the widower of Shirley M Leiby Craig. Robert and Shirley were married for 52 years.
He retired from CarTech.
After retiring Robert and Shirley opened up Craig's Creative Crafts.
He enjoyed working at the Reading Fightin Phillies as an usher for 22 years.
Survived are 3 daughters, Robin Mattiuz, widow of David, LuAnn Kropp, wife of Clarence, and Cindy Mengle, wife of Robert. There are eight grandchildren, Christoper Mattiuz, Jenna (Mattiuz) Hopkins, Craig Levan, Allyson (Mengle) Schwartzmiller, Michael Levan, Ashleigh Levan, Jennifer Mengle, and Kendra Mengle. There are ten great grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his wife Shirley and a granddaughter, Katelynn Mengle.
He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies.
He enjoyed watching NASCAR, bowling and golfing.
Robert served his country in the Reserves.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 10th at 11 am in the Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home, 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple. Family and friends may attend a visitation with the family on Friday from 10 am until 11 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
